(EXCERPT) Seven years ago, someone approached the Rev. Dwight Stevens with the idea of screening classic movies in the historic, landmark Paramount Theatre building, now home to The Paramount Church.
The program took off from the beginning: full house at the first show and standing-room-only crowds at subsequent films. This year, Stevens experienced a bit of déjà vu when he received a suggestion to start a Christian film series, in addition to the classic series.
