What Is Your #1 Desire? We, here at CFDb, long to see great Christian Films, not just because we review or sometimes critique the films, but because we LOVE great Christian Movies.  We want to see films that we can talk about for days, months, or even years.  There are some of those out there! So, what is YOUR #1 desire, as a filmmaker or scriptwriter?  If your #1 desire is to make a great Christian Film, then you’ve come to the right place!   Empty Theater We have been to quite a few Christian movies where there were only 1 or 2 people, other than us, in the entire theater.  That is what we are trying to end.  Christian Movies have a bad reputation for a few different reasons and this really affects the entire Christian Movie industry.  The goal is to RAISE the STANDARD for Christian Films. Full Theater When was the last time you went to a Christian Movie and found the theater entirely packed or even almost full?  It’s been awhile for us, unless it was a screener.  I actually remember specifically what movie we were at and almost every seat was full, it was “The Passion of the Christ“.   CFDb has written an 8 step 22 page E-book entitled, “How to Make a Great Christian Film” The chapters included are: Discover & Focus Making A Godly Script Create Storyboards & Trailers Funding Finding Cast & Crew Post-Production Review Marketing Distribution So why CFDb?  Our lives have been saturated with Christian Film for many years now, even long before the database was born.  We are your audience and through this business we’ve picked up a lot of tips along the way.  This book is not about which angle to hold your camera or what type of camera to purchase as this is NOT our expertise, but the practical advice we do know about and we want to share it with you, especially all those up and coming filmmakers, that seem to be arriving at an astronomical rate, on a daily basis.  Even the experienced filmmakers can get some great practical advice from this e-book. Purchase your E-book today! You can pay via credit card through PayPal or you may send a check or money order to us: Christianfilmdatabase 743 Goldhill Place S PMB 107 Woodland Park, CO  80863   Contact us if you have any questions.

6 Filmmaking Tips From Steven Spielberg While Spielberg may be phoning in his last few films (*cough* WARHORSE *cough*) his films are staples in the AFI Top 100 and he’s got two (ET and JURASSIC PARK) in the top 20 Box Office of all-times.  So…still a force to be reckoned with.  And here are some [...]
