Thanks for the plug! It may look chick flick, but Barry Pepper and Cole Hauser as two dads who claim fatherhood of one little boy are very powerful. Men who've seen the film at festivals around the country have been very impacted by it...looking at their own lives as fathers and thinking about their relationships with their dads.

Way to lay down the challenge! Great points and all I can say is I'm in full agreement. Personally, I think we're on our way - albeit not under the World Wide Pictures name. A lot of the same questions are being asked by others and we've produced some solid stuff lately through http://www.ransom.tv

The closest thing to a short film so far is what we produced for Dustin Kensrue's 'This Is War' in December 2009.

Keep up the good work, David!

I want to see Christian Film doing well. I will even rave about some of them on my blog. However, I know, judged in the context of mainstream Hollywood they don't always stand up. Maybe we should forget about Christian Film as a genre and focus instead on telling a good story of life change. Because with the Christian Film genre they are pretty stuck with issues of moral authority etc

[...] Pre-Production Artwork For This Present Darkness Film My buddy Vic Medina of Collectoramashow.com reminded me the other day that he had ran across artwork done by some guy who was hired by director Chuck Russell back in the 90′s to draw up concepts for the angels and demons from Frank Peretti’s novel This Present Darkness. He said the stuff looked really cool but he couldn’t remember where he saw it. I hit up Google and found not only one or two pieces of concept art, but quite a few from different artists that were hired at different times to come up with ideas for a film based on the book. There’s been three or four artists hired at one time or another to draw up the characters. There’s been several different big names attached to the 20th Century Fox project as well over the years. There was Chuck Russell, who was to direct it. Return of the Jedi producer Howard Kazanjian was supposed to produce. Then at some point Michael DeLuca (Ghost Rider, Blade II, Rush Hour 2, The Mask) got involved as a producer. Apparently, nothing has really ever gotten out of the concept phase, so all we can do is hope and pray that one day someone will do the source material justice while making a really legitimately good movie version. We’ve posted some of the concept art right here for you to check out. You can check out tons of other info on the project and more artwork right here. [...]

Gary Moore is also a featured actor in several episodes of the Emmy award winning Steve & Kathy Show. He was SUPER to have on set and his talent brought some great dynamics to our comedic style! These episodes will be airing in the next several weeks on stations across the nation. Check the schedule at www.steveandkathygray.com.

Also, I encourage anyone with an interest in acting for film to check out his upcoming acting schools. I'm sure it will be a great investment.
