We are looking for an experienced Editor with comprehensive editing skills to successfully contribute to the production team based in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of television production and post production
• Advanced working knowledge of the NTSC and PAL transmission and video standards
• Knowledge of sound mixing techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of advanced editing systems and software, both PC and Mac based
• Ability to perform complex audio and video editing and mixing tasks as well as complex video effects in storytelling and design
• Knowledge of SMPTE timecode and related devices, signal generators, signal syncing devices, routing techniques and file/data transfer processes
• Thorough understanding of computer and server technology with good computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent creative ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexibility with working outside of the normal shifts including the possibility of occasional travel needs
