** you don't have permission to see this link ** So many of these undoubtedly fine Christian films lack only one thing; a hook the world cannot resist. My script, Turnabout (The Game of Idol Threats), is a clean, funny romp about the one thing you can count on EVERYBODY being interested in (for some reason); celebrities.

IN ONE LINE:

This miniseries is a funny, but clean and mature, neo-Shakespearian farce about a group of seven celebrities turning the tables on three paparazzos by putting on their own tabloid show amidst a series of bizarre murder attempts.

Summary:

A group of celebrities turn the tables on three paparazzos, putting on their own tabloid show about them. At first it backfires, winning the three targets popularity and prosperity. Then the desperate celebs recruit a volunteer paparazzo army but they go rogue and things get ugly. All the while this is going on there are numerous bizarre attempted murders of the celebrities (and even the paparazzos themselves), being investigated by two detectives, one of whom is an impostor hired by the paparazzos to harass the celebrity team. In one incredible meeting wherein the celebrities air their grievances, the elderly police detective makes peace between the warring factions and they leave as friends. Having the man they believe responsible for the attacks in custody, everything appears resolved. When the suspect accidentally escapes the peace is shattered by two last deadly assaults. A funny, joyful epilogue wraps up the storylines.

So where's the faith part? All throughout. The two Christian characters present our faith intelligently throughout and the shock-rocker character actually comes to Christ.

I believe the secular audience will not feel they have been dragged to church since along with these subjects there are loads of witticisms and honest queries many audience members might have.

Wanna read the script or the synopsis? Let me know!
