Friday Fun – Plot Device

In all of our hard work script writing this month, I almost forgot our Friday Fun video.  This one was forwarded by fellow LOLer Monica who showed this video at our department meeting at work and we all laughed and laughed and gargled and gargled.

All you need to know beforehand is that RedGiant is a company that supplies some editorial software and plug-ins etc, like MagicBullet which allow you to do some pretty amazing color correction and looks adjustments on your film or video.   This video showcases that software very well.

Friday Fun: Iron Baby Vid

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.  Here’s a little something to help jumpstart your weekend.   While Iron Man 2 is rocking the box office, this video that came out yesterday is rocking the intrawebs:

This technical marvel (heheh..get it?  marvel?  Ironman?  Get it?  Geez, forget it…) was created by Patrick Boivin and is sure to knock him from obscurity, right into the limelight.  But he’s got what we likes to call the skeelz to stick around and turn 15 minutes of fame into a career.  Quite a demo reel, too, this guy.

I’d definitely let him volunteer to work for free on one of my short films!
